The ski shuttle buses to all skiing areas are also close by. The apartment is just a 6 minute walk from the Chamonix Aiguille du Midi railway station and a 10 minute walk from the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc station. Visitors can get a Mont Blanc rail pass and explore the whole region for free. Chamonix is well-known for its wide variety of both winter and summer activities. It is a centre for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledging and ice skating. In the summer there are numerous options including hiking and biking trails through stunning mountain scenery. Away from the slopes, Accro’ Parc Adventure Park (10-minute drive), makes an ideal day out for active children. Visitors can also try paragliding, or enjoy a large outdoor pool and tennis. The town is home to many fine restaurants and bars, which will suit all budgets and ages. Geneva airport is a 1 hour and 10 minutes drive from the apartment.
